The "Core Team" is made up of representatives from each Unit department. The Team under my management meets at different times throughout the year to discuss the main organizational issues, whereas an internal Clinical Audit is carried out weekly. The Clinical Audit is the main tool for improving professional quality and service delivery, it is a regular technical-professional assessment of the level of treatment. It is based on the systematic review of the clinical information for each patient suffering from a breast disorder and on the evaluation of the main Outcome Research indicators. The Clinical Audit's main aim is to highlight the efficiency of the healthcare assistence provided.
